We’ll be waiting in a luxury coach for you at Dublin’s Cruise Ship Terminal! Once all guests are on board, it’s time to begin an all-encompassing tour of Dublin City. Your guide will give you an entertaining tour, pointing out Dublin’s most famous attractions – Trinity College, the Ha’penny Bridge, Molly Malone and St. Patrick’s Cathedral to name just a few.

Following our city tour, we drive through leafy South Dublin on our way to the enchanting Dublin Mountains. Movie fans will recognize the beautiful landscape here as the backdrop to films including ‘Braveheart’ and ‘P.S. I Love You’. We make a stop at Glendalough, where we ensure enough time for you to fully experience this ancient monastic site – including St. Kevin’s ancient monastery, with its iconic round tower and Celtic high cross. Glendalough is truly stunning and is one of Ireland’s most historic sites.

Your day begins at Dublin Port Cruise Terminal.

Your shore excursion begins at 08:00 or 30 minutes after the boat docks on any given date. Meet and greet your guide and fellow travellers – then we begin our tour through Dublin City. Your guide will advise you on the lunch options available on the day and will inform you of some of Ireland’s most prominent craft shops that you will have the chance to visit during your excursion.

Drive through the Wicklow Mountains to Glendalough

We take you into the depths of Co. Wicklow, or the aptly nicknamed ‘Garden of Ireland’ as it is better known, before making our stop at Glendalough. You’ll want to make sure to have your camera at the ready, as our route takes us through stunning landscapes – from incredible glens and valleys to dramatic mountains to meandering brooks and traditional Irish pubs with thatched roofing. Reaching our stop at Glendalough, your guide will give you a comprehensive tour of this ancient site and the famous monastery, which was established by St. Kevin during the 6th century. Be sure to visit St. Kevin’s cross and challenge yourself to link your arms fully around it – legend has it that those who manage this will be married within a year!
