15:10 | RETURN TO DUBLIN VIA THE HOMELAND OF HURLING Hurling is believed to be the world’s oldest field game. When the Celts came to Ireland as the last ice age was receding, they brought with them a unique culture, their own language, music, script and unique pastimes. One of these pastimes was a game now called hurling (an Camán in Gaelic). It features in Irish folklore to illustrate the deeds of heroic mystical figures and it is chronicled as a distinct Irish pastime for at least 2,000 years. County Kilkenny is one of the hurling powerhouses in Ireland; As we travel through these lush flat pastures you’ll understand why.
17:30 – 18:00 | DUBLIN CITY CENTRE We arrive back in Dublin early evening and you will have time to enjoy the best of our culture. Dancing, music, and stories can all be enjoyed.
