This 3 Day Tour of Southern Ireland takes you to the highlights of Galway, Kerry & Cork including the 702ft Cliffs of Moher, Connemara and Blarney Castle. Online bookings enjoy our lowest price guarantee.

Day 1 | Dublin – Connemara – Galway Town

With three full days of Irish sightseeing, activities and culture to look forward to we’ll point our Mercedes touring vehicle west along the banks of Dublin’s river Liffey and across the forty shades of green to bohemian Galway. Enjoy an in-depth tour of Connemara, the jewel in County Galway’s throne and one of the most iconic National Parks in all of Europe. Can you imagine typical picture- postcard Irish scenery? Well you’ll find that on this tour in spades! Connemara, or “Conamara” in the Irish-Gaelic language, is the setting for many Hollywood classics such as “The Quiet Man” (starring Maureen O’Hara and John Wayne), and “The Field” (starring Richard Harris). After a day full of touring and sightseeing we’ll arrive back into Ireland’s most atmospheric city – Galway. After check-in you’ll have plenty of time for dinner and to explore the charming medieval streets by foot. Fantastic seafood, “Galway Hooker Beer” and traditional Irish music awaits. Overnight in Galway

Day 2 | Galway – Cliffs of Moher – Kerry

Your route today is regarded by National Geographic as one of Europe’s top ten coastal drives. With the Atlantic Ocean on the right hand side, we’ll drive Ireland’s west coast from Galway Bay through the unique Burren region. Enjoy some time at leisure here to ramble around this surreal limestone landscape –where Alpine, Arctic and Mediterranean flowers all grow together. Depending on the season and weather, dolphins and whales can also sometimes be spotted from the beaches and cliffs here. This afternoon, take in unrivalled views from the 700ft “Cliffs of Moher” (Ireland’s answer to Manhattan’s Empire State Building) before continuing through County Limerick and over the river Shannon to Kerry. Enjoy time at leisure this evening, or head to the local pub with newly forged friends. Either way, great dinner and nightlife options await. Overnight in Kerry (*Typically Killarney, for operational reasons this tour may occasionally overnight in Cork – same great trip)

Day 3 | Kerry – Cork – Dublin

Time flies when you’re having fun, as the old saying goes. And this morning you may be asking yourself where 3 days have gone – We’ve already seen so much of this beautiful Emerald Isle! Now you’ll drive over the Cork and Kerry Mountains (to the tune of the old classic “Whiskey in the Jar”) to the historic rebel stronghold of Blarney Castle in County Cork. We can’t let you leave Ireland without at least a little basic training in the art of eloquence – so a visit to Blarney Castle’s ramparts is exactly what you need. Kiss the Blarney Stone and you’ll have the smooth talking “Gift of the gab” for seven years – We can’t say fairer than that. And in the fullness of time, you’ll just have to come back to top- up your new powers! After lunch we’ll visit the Rock of Castle Dunamase looking out over the rich green pastures of County Tipperary. This area is also sometimes known as the Golden Vale and comprises some of the finest agricultural land on earth – look out for the herds of cattle and racehorses as we make our way back to Dublin for approximately 17:30.

Guest Reviews

I knew we would have a great time in Ireland, but had no idea what a fantastic experience K&C would present us with. Our driver showed us so much of beautiful Galway and Kerry in just 3 days – and always had local recommendations for the evening. An all round amazing trip and unbeatable value to boot.
