DAY 1 | DUBLIN Welcome to Dublin and a ride to your centrally located Dublin hotel. Enjoy free time for the remainder of the day. Shopping, afternoon tea, or a pint or two of one of our local brews can all be enjoyed.

DAY 2 | DUBLIN A private guide will take you on a local tour of Dublin. You will learn more about Dublin, including the Victorian building architecture and the Viking beginnings. Your local guide will take you to explore the city of Dublin. From uncovering the Viking origins of our city to seeing some beautiful Victorian architecture, you will see why this city was once one of the most important in the British Empire. See the Book of Kells and then we will journey to a traditional cheesemongers and enjoy a tasting of some fine whiskeys. Sláinte!

DAY 3 | WICKLOW, GLENDALOUGH & WATERFORD CRYSTAL The beautiful gardens of Powerscourt is our next destination located high in the Mountains of Wicklow. The “Valley of Two Lakes” in Glendalough is the next stop and is home to St. Kevin’s 7th century monastery. In the afternoon, we will visit the Waterford Crystal Factory, located across the River Suir. Enjoy seeing the cut glass and invest in some if you wish.

DAY 4 | MEDIEVAL KILKENNY Today you have the opportunity to explore Kilkenny, the ancient Norman city, which is the location of a castle stronghold, as well as “red ale” beer and St. Canice’s Cathedral. You will have time for lunch and for some shopping before we return to Waterford by going through Thomaston and enjoying the ruins of Jerpoint Abbey from the 13th century.

DAY 5 | BLARNEY CASTLE & KILLARNEY Cross the counties of Waterford and Cork to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone atop Blarney Castle. Kissing the stone is believed by some to give a gift of fluent speech, also known as the “gift of gab.” You’ll have time to visit the Blarney Woollen Mills for artisanal Irish sweaters. We’ll continue over the Gaelic speaking Cork & Kerry Mountains to the Lakes of Killarney. Tonight, visit the music bars in the downtown area and get to know the locals a little.

DAY 6 | DINGLE PENINSULA Today, discover the “Old Gaelic” Dingle Peninsula. You will get to explore some of the early Christian sights, as well as some of the most beautiful natural beauty found in Europe. Visit the Blasket Islands Centre, Louis Mulcahy (one of the most interesting potteries on the peninsula) and enjoy a lunch stop in Ballyferriter (A tiny village with a couple of shops and a pub!).

DAY 7 | CLIFFS of MOHER, BURREN & GALWAY This morning we’ll cross the mighty Shannon river and explore the amazing “lunar-like” landscape that is the region of Burren. The route we will travel is known as one of the top ten coastal drives in Europe by The National Geographic. A visit to the 700 foot high “Cliffs of Moher” (which is 2/3rd of the height of New York’s Empire State Building) is on tap and you can then enjoy lunch in Doolin, which is a traditional little fishing village. Galway is the afternoon destination and on the way we will explore “Poulnabrone”, a unique Celtic Burial Site from 2500 BC.

DAY 8 | SLÁN ABHAILE! Enjoy your calming transfer to Dublin or Shannon to take a flight home or, if you wish, you can continue to another destination. Be sure to give yourself a minimum of 3 hours for airport check-in.
