SUGGESTED PRIVATE ITINERARY

An early start is recommended tom maximise time on tour today and most of our guests will opt for 08:00. Your chauffeur- guide will collect you from the door of your accommodation and together you’ll begin the drive west – towards Ireland’s magnificent Atlantic coastline. We’ll be sure to pause for that early morning caffeine fix along the way and before you know it, we’ll arrive at the traditional and charming fishing village of Kinvara. Capture photos of the Atlantic Ocean views before your short onward journey towards Dunguaire Castle, a traditional 16th Century Irish Castle which delights our international guests.

The next stop along the route is Corcomroe Abbey. This ancient abbey was constructed in the most remote and peaceful of locations to facilitate the solitary living of the monks it once accommodated. Today, the site remains just as isolated, allowing you to take in the miles and miles of beautiful landscapes, which surround it. If art history is your thing – you’ll love the historic artwork, which dates back as far as the 13th Century. Of course, your guide will be on hand to provide you with an in-depth history of the region as you travel. Your drive continues along the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ – one of the country’s most scenic drives. The journey takes us through a unique region known as ‘The Burren’. This plateau stretches across the horizon and features flowers and plants native to the Arctic, Mediterranean and Alps – all alongside one another.

We move on from the Burren to Doolin – a traditional village renowned for traditional music. The village is characterized by its numerous thatched-roof cottages and provides an abundance of eateries serving great local food – the perfect place for you to enjoy a leisurely lunch.

Next up, it’s time for today’s highlight – the Cliffs of Moher! This stunning stretch of coastline allows for incredible views out over the Atlantic Ocean. Top attractions for you to spot on the horizon are the Aran Islands and the Twelve Pins mountain range, which sits on the Galway coast – just slightly to the North. Aside from that, it’s nothing but ocean all the way to North America! Stroll along the cliff tops and you’ll soon understand why travel publications including ‘Lonely Planet’ and ‘Condé Nast Traveller’ rave about this attraction and consider it a must-see on your Irish vacation. Perhaps explore the facilities too – including the ‘Atlantic Edge Visitor Centre’, a café and a souvenir shop.

With the day coming to an end – it’s time for one more stop before we commence our journey back to Dublin. Enjoy some refreshments and snap some pictures of the beautiful Bunratty Castle – one of Ireland’s most famous and best loved enchanting castles. If time allows, you can enjoy a quick browse at the ‘Woolen Mills’ store in Bunratty, which specializes in traditional hand-knitted Irish goods.

You’ll depart Bunratty to begin your comfortable and private chauffeur- driven journey to Dublin city with memories to last you a lifetime. Arrive back to your preferred location in time for an evening’s entertainment in the capital.

Duration 08:00 – 20:00 or equivalent consecutive hours.
