Private Customized Tours of Ireland

The structure you need coupled with the independence you want

We appreciate that your idea of a holiday may differ from someone else’s, that’s why we specialise in private custom travel in Ireland. We offer a range of accommodation, transport and sightseeing options in Ireland’s major cities and national parks, allowing you the flexibility to create a tour program to suit your individual expectations, timeframe and budget. You can be as involved in the planning as much, or as little, as you want. For inspiration, why not check out the sample itineraries below- they provide a good overview of what is possible within different timeframes. To get started, contact us with the size of your group and preferred destinations and we’ll create a proposal with you.

What You Can Expect…

Throughout your journey you’ll enjoy breathtakingly beautiful scenery and authentically traditional sights, discover atmospheric towns and delight in the distinctive flavours of each region. Perhaps mingle with the locals while you sample fresh produce in local markets and cosy pubs, tasting the creamiest Guinness and indulging in the occasional “Sos Beag” (Siesta).

With your newfound “Gift of the Gab” you’ll entertain friends with tales of how you sampled fine whiskeys with Dublin spirit traders or how you enjoyed a fascinating lesson in the Gaelic language from an old sheep farmer. The more adventurous of you might even mention the Atlantic fishermen who welcome you to sail with them to explore (UNESCO) Christian ruins on the mysterious Skellig Islands! Just imagine the memories you’ll bring home with you.

Perhaps you can tell, we’re passionate about Ireland. Our people are more welcoming and good natured than you might imagine, and although we can’t count on Mediterranean sunshine every day of the year, it never rains in the pub! So prepare to slow down, linger, and immerse yourself in this European paradise.

You Decide, We Provide!

As many of our guests are used to travelling independently, our trips are designed accordingly. Overnight locations and “must sees” are agreed in advance, and then your journey revolves around a menu of daily sightseeing options, cultural experiences and personal leisure time. In this way, itineraries are kept as flexible as possible to take advantage of unexpected opportunities and to adapt to local weather conditions.

With advance notice, our people can also arrange unique invitations to castles, archaeological sites, farms, fishing vessels, kitchens and artisan studios- fascinating places that help you get under the skin of Irish society in a way that is meaningful to you.

What’s Included?

You’ll travel in style with a private touring vehicle including driver guide, great regional contacts and select hotel arrangements. In essence, we provide the independence you want with the structure and local insight that makes for a fantastic tour.

The size of your luxury vehicle will be based on approximately double the size of your group. So, if your group is composed of 10 people we will typically recommend a 24 seat Mercedes. This policy allows for free seating choice, good leg space and plenty of luggage capacity.

Your guide will provide unique recommendations, and then step back so you have the freedom to make the experience your own. You can expect us to be right there when needed, but we also know when to disappear!

At the end of each day, your guide will take a few quiet moments with you to discuss how you would like to enjoy the next. Is there something you would particularly like to experience? It’s your call- this is your adventure. Look forward to travelling on your own terms, at your own pace, free to benefit from our insider knowledge as much or as little as you like.
